The Davis community was shocked by David’s death as a result of injuries he suffered falling down a crevasse on 11 January 2016.

He was a larger than life figure on station and a much loved friend and colleague to everyone on station.

He will be sadly missed but remembered forever in our hearts. We mourn his passing.
