Off to Bandit’s hut for the weekend

Richard, Bob and I got the weather window we had hope for and took off for the weekend, deciding to ‘go around the outside’ through Iceberg Ally. The hunt for the elusive jade berg was on the cards. After finding some interesting bergs a jade berg was finally spotted.

As the weather was practically good the decision was made to press north to the northern-most part of our operational boundary and check out the Sir Hubert Wilkins Cairn.

The aftermath of the Davis blizzard

Last week we had our first real blizzard. The winds have finally passed and the sun was out to view the newly landscaped Davis.
