A wrap up of our year in photos

Please excuse the brief update this week, the first ship (of two) the HAPPY DIAMOND has just arrived at Mawson and we are busy doing our final preparations for resupply, refuelling and handover to the new team.

We have recently been reviewing our photographs taken through the year in an effort to find the "cover photo" for our yearbook. Everyone was asked to submit their favourite three photos - a very, very difficult proposition noting the number of photos which have been taken over a year in Antarctica - and then voting was conducted. With the winning photo being a very fitting image of an emperor penguin chick by William Seal (Sealy).
