The objectives of the Draft Initial Environmental Evaluation - Geotechnical Investigations Davis Aerodrome Project and Davis Station Infrastructure Project 2021-2022 Field Activities, are to continue to collect geotechnical data to inform the design, construction and delivery efforts for the planning phase of the proposed Davis Aerodrome Project.

Note: The Australian Antarctic Division is currently preparing a Comprehensive Environmental Evaluation (CEE) for the proposed Davis Aerodrome Project, associated infrastructure and aviation operations for consideration under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (1999) and Antarctic Treaty (Environment Protection) Act (1980). That CEE assessment process is separate to this Initial Environmental Evaluation for Geotechnical Investigations.
