There is just two weeks left to run on the Australian Antarctic Program’s recruitment drive for the 2025/26 season.

The AAP is looking for more than 200 tradespeople to work across a range of trades and professions, including field training officers, plant operators, riggers and electronics engineers.

Successful expeditioners will live in tight knit communities, helping run Australia’s three scientific research stations in Antarctica – Davis, Mawson and Casey and one on sub-Antarctic Macquarie Island.
