Lloyd Symons was awarded the medal for consistent outstanding services to the Atmospheric and Space Physics program well beyond that expected of an Electronic Engineer over three Antarctic winters.
Lloyd has always approached his work with much zeal and enthusiasm, giving an enormous amount of his time and energy to the ASP program, and is highly regarded by ASP staff and by external agencies for consistent excellent engineering and operator contributions to ANARE.
