Bernard Sorensen has made an outstanding contribution as a chef during his three tours of duty. He provided an excellent and consistent level of catering and, at Mawson in 1986, managed to be creative despite a food shortage due to shipping problems.
Bernard made a number of videos documenting station life which were technically excellent and also helped to promote group cohesion by involving the station as a whole in their production.
