Project aim
Collections are to be made at Casey Station and at other specified areas within the Australian Antarctic Territories to expand our knowledge of the freshwater fauna. This will not only provide a baseline for monitoring subsequent changes to aquatic ecosystem biodiversity resulting from global environmental change, but will also allow comparison with other Antarctic and subantarctic regions.
