Nunataks as Dipsticks of Past Changes in Ice Level: Constraining the glacial history of the Lambert Glacier region using terrestrial cosmogenic nuclides.

Project aim

Dating of glacial moraines in the Lambert Glacier region, East Antarctica, will reveal changes in ice thickness since about 18,000 years ago. Combined with geological and geophysical data this will constrain computer models that show how the ice sheet interacts with climate and sea level, leading to improved understanding of sea level change.
