Project aim
How much organic carbon produced by algae that grow in sea ice is recycled by small grazers? We will answer this question by measuring grazing rates of these animals, using techniques including gut analysis. We will combine these results with measurements of algal production to produce a model of carbon flow through the Antarctic sea ice community.
