Project aim
Iron is a major factor controlling phytoplankton growth in the Southern Ocean, yet our knowledge of iron in Southern Ocean waters is hindered by our inability to collect uncontaminated seawater from ships. This project aims to produce a "clean" shipboard sampling system for the measurement of iron in Southern Ocean waters.
