Project aim
This proposal provides shore-based technical support for the processing of sea-floor sediments generated from the Italian/Australian mission along the George V Coast of Antarctica. Processing of microfossils will contribute to the Strategic Plan goals of understanding, defining and recording biogenic sedimentation along the East Antarctic Shelf through changes in diatom taxa.
