Project aim
Many aspects of the atmosphere in the Antarctic environs display a twice-yearly periodicity, even though the solar forcing has an annual cycle. This project aims to understand this semiannual oscillation (and its variation over the last forty years) in terms of the behaviour of the composite of individual cyclonic systems.
