Comments

Another quiet day aboard the Aurora as outside, the sea seems to be slowly making up its mind which direction it's going in, but not without a tussle that saw us at the receiving end of a few reasonable 21 degree rolls this morning – testing our self-stowing abilities.

Quite a number of expeditioners are taking this opportunity to rest up after a busy resupply, and for others still, staying horizontal and subsisting on water and dry biscuits has been the only way to travel. We hope that calmer conditions in the coming days helps them to reconcile with their stomachs and join the land of the living once more. With everyone able to claim a cabin to themselves, the institution of a 'buddy system' whereby everyone is assigned someone to check up on after lunch if they've not been seen has worked to good effect this voyage. Those who have been crook have been very well looked after.

Regards,

James, Anthea & Gemma.
