Comments

Despite some challenges with the wind we managed to get all passengers ashore yesterday afternoon. We discharged 12.1 tonnes of cargo not including the Inflatable Rubber Boat (IRB), Lighter Amphibious Resupply Craft (LARC), or passenger bags. Waking to a forecast of a rare sunny day with little wind we started setup for refueling early this morning. During the setup we observed King penguins diving under and jumping over the fuel line. Disappointingly we has some issues with the compressor and a hose camlock which prevented us from starting to pump fuel ashore until 1220. We will now most likely need a second good weather day to complete the station refuel. There is only a small contingent of expeditioners left aboard the ship to manage refueling and cargo operations.
