Comments

Arrived on station 2200 EST 4 Oct, waiting until first light to attempt retrieval. Retrieved the SAZ-C mooring successfully. Released mooring at 0620 EST, grappled pickup floats at 0720. Mooring serviced and redeployed in excellent time. Anchor weight dropped at 1243 EST. Now rigging for CTD trials in marginal conditions. If the weather deteriorates further, we will head north with the aim of testing the CTD equipment in suitable water as we return to Hobart. Assuming that we do manage to perform the tests before the weather deteriorates too badly, we plan to head back to the SAZB-9B mooring at 47 S. Regards Peter
