Comments: Marine science cargo for carriage on this voyage must be delivered to Macquarie 4 Cargo Facility by COB 5 Sep. Late and/or unmanifested marine science and Casey cargo will not be accepted. Security arrangements will be in place whilst the vessel is in port. No equipment will be permitted to be carried onboard without it being cleared through the Macquarie 4 Cargo Facility. Purpose of voyage: Deploy personnel and D Resupply.

Comments: Twin Otter aircraft will be used to transfer personnel between Davis and Mawson to enable Mawson station changeover and 2003 winter personnel RTA. Twin Otter passengers will retain the 50kg personal effects limit that is normally applied to helicopter flights between ship and shore. Other personal effects will be shipped on Voyage 5. Strict limitations will be applied to the quantity of cargo to be flown between Davis and Mawson. Late and/or unmanifested cargo will not be accepted. Security arrangements will be in place whilst the vessel is in port. No cargo or equipment will be permitted to be carried onboard unless it has been cleared through the Macquarie 4 Cargo Facility. Purpose of voyage: Heard Island deployment

Comments: The AAD will fund and arrange for the delivery of containerised cargo from Hobart to Fremantle if delivered for packing at Macquarie 4 Cargo Facility by the nominated date. The AAD will as also fund the airfares (from Hobart) and any necessary accommodation in Fremantle for Heard Island expedition personnel. Program managers will be required to arrange and fund the delivery of late cargo, and excess baggage to Fremantle.
