Krill are a critical part of the Southern Ocean ecosystem and a big part of the research undertaken at the Australian Antarctic Division. There will be a number of krill projects conducted during the SIPEX-II voyage but scientists will need to capture some krill first. I caught up with the Antarctic Division’s krill aquarium manager Rob King, to learn more about one of his krill capturing techniques. Check out this story and video to see how it works.
