Summary
An overview of the Davis station hydroxyl airglow temperature program will be given. Seasonal structure, planetary scale periodicities and inter-year variability determined from six years of hydroxyl airglow rotational temperatures will be presented. Solar cycle influences will be examined. The absolute values of temperatures derived from OH(6-2) [828 - 850 nm] and OH(8-3) [724-740 nm] depend significantly on the transition probabilities chosen. A variation of 12 K is possible depending on the choice of commonly used values. We update our work on experimentally determining these values.
