Current research utilises the recently installed Southern Hemisphere Imaging Riometer (SHIRE) located at Australia’s Davis Antarctic station to study riometer signatures associated with cusp-latitude magnetic impulse events (MIE’s) detected in co-located fluxgate magnetometer data.
