CADI and DPS ionospheric drift measurements at Casey Station, Antarctica. 14th National Congress of the Australian Institute of Physics, Adelaide, December 2000, 2000 (Ref: 9681)
Category 3: Abstract

IPS Radio and Space Services, currently operates three four-receiver Canadian Advanced Digital Ionosondes (CADIs), two at mid-latitudes at Canberra and Camden, and the remaining one at Casey station, Antarctica. The deployment of a fourth unit at Macquarie Island is scheduled for this summer.

E-region bifurcation and magnetic field related Bragg backscattered spectral events observed at high-latitude by MF radar. Geophysical Research Letters, 2005 (Ref: 12227)
Category 1: Peer-reviewed literature

[1] We report on novel spectral characteristics of E-region … backscatter acquired using a 1.94 MHz Medium Frequency … (MF) radar above the high-latitude Antarctic station Davis … (68.6ºS). Two distinctive Doppler spectra are observed: one … that exhibits bifurcation in Doppler velocity…

On the determination of vertical profiles of ionospheric velocity from digital ionosonde measurements. ANARE Report, 2001 (Ref: 10047)
Category 1: Peer-reviewed literature

The so-called ionosonde drift technique of determining ionospheric velocities from angle-of-arrival and Doppler shift measurements is now well established. In the standard digital ionosonde technique, commonly called the drift mode…
