Summary

This talk will describe the cosmic ray physics behind different cosmic ray muon telescopes, such as Hobart Scintillator Telescope, Nagoya Scintillator Telescope, Matsumoto and Mawson Proportional Counter,MuSTAnG and SanMartinho ScintillatorTelescopes. In addition it will be sketched the application of the International muon telescope network as a space weather service.
