What a change we've had weather wise, as we've moved further north. Today we woke to blue skies, sunshine and much warmer temperatures and lots of people got out to enjoy it with a walk around the deck. The sea was pretty choppy though and that worsened as the day went on - at the time of writing, the wind is 41 knots and there's spray smashing high over the bow of the ship, reaching as high as the Observation Deck window on Deck 9 at times. The constant banging and roiling can be pretty tiring and a lot of people opted to take an afternoon nap.
We are due back in Hobart at 10am tomorrow and I think it's fair to say most people will be very happy to see the Iron Pot and our first glimpse of Hobart.
It has been a fantastic voyage and we are very grateful to the crew, especially the kitchen staff and stewards, who looked after us so well.
And thank you again to our families and friends, we really couldn't do what we do without your support.
REGARDS: Brendan, Jenn, and Nick
