Comments

Today dawned with fairly clear skies but high winds so despite their enthusiasm, the helicopter crews stayed on the ground and got to work deblading the machines and tying them down in preparation for the journey home.
The LARC teams shifted the last of the RTA back to the ship and by lunchtime, all remaining passengers, LARCs, and the 15 strong watercraft team were back – a very productive morning.
The afternoon was spent doing a muster and preparing the ship to leave and at 4pm, we waved goodbye to Macquarie Island, confident that the station is well stocked for the year ahead.
With 100 per cent of cargo delivered, 100 per cent of fuel transferred and 100 per cent of RTA on board, it's been a hugely successful trip and an extraordinary effort from all involved.
Thank you from the Voyage Management team, and best wishes to the new guardians of Macquarie Island for the year ahead. Stay safe.

REGARDS: Brendan, Jenn, and Nick
