All operations were cancelled today due to gale force winds. The ship moved further out to sea and headed south to avoid the worst of it.
In the afternoon we edged closer to station in the hope that there might be a window to do some work but it was just too windy and the swell and wave conditions at the beach precluded any operations.
The weather forecast is for winds to 25 to 35 knots tomorrow morning with low cloud and mist in the afternoon but it may be enough of an improvement to get operations started again.
The decision has been made to delay our departure by a day, so we still have Monday and Tuesday to move the last of the Return to Australia cargo if low cloud and swell hamper our efforts tomorrow.
RSV Nuyina will head for Hobart on Wednesday.
REGARDS: Brendan, Jenn, and Nick
