REMARKS:
The work over the last couple of days in preparing the MEEK and two KOMBI moorings was rewarded with a successful deployment yesterday. Deployed in the deeper water at the edge of the continental shelf, just to the north of iceberg alley.
The conditions, although marginal, were good enough for Nuyina to handle and provide a safe platform for the deck and science team to deploy the moorings.
Today's attention has turned back to Mawson for a few days of promised good weather.
