Comments

After seeing Mount Henderson and the nearby ranges in the background last night Nuyina arrived off Mawson to maintain position on dynamic positioning (DP) outside of West Arm. Unlike the other stations, Mawson sits at the foot of a mountain, making it both dramatic and beautiful to look at.
Although the sun has started to come out, which is good, the winds remain high and so we are waiting to start our work with Station. Of course, the good thing about a plan is that it can be changed, and here in Antarctica it is probably one thing that remains consistent.
But if you have to wait someplace this is pretty nice and the forecast is for easing winds so we are still hopeful.
Regards, Chris & Andrew
