Comments

For many onboard, yesterday was one of the most prolific days of wildlife spotting in recent memory. Wherever you looked, there was a whale or a seal or a penguin or all three. Then there was the bird life, some in flocks, some soring solely above the deck. It was truly a day of "wows".
This morning, Nuyina arrived to Casey for the first of our four Station stop tour of Antarctic, which includes the pleasure of visiting Davis twice. Arriving to a perfectly still morning, Nuyina anchored in Newcombe Bay. Although there were passing snow showers in the distance, Casey remained perfect for helicopter operations as we transferred personnel and their gear to join us for our trip to Davis and eventually home.
Nuyina will weigh anchor soon for our transit to Davis. The current weather should make for great viewing, we'll see what sights the days ahead bring.
Regards, Chris, Andrew & Nate
