Comments

Making our way steadily south, the first of the large seabirds have been spotted and the wind and swell have increased. Nuyina rides the conditions well with most expeditioners finding their sea-legs, remaining up and about.
Everyone is getting into their "at sea" routine and now most of us can find our way around the ship at least most of the time.
Planning for operations later in the week at Casey continues and the ship and crew have conducted some special training sessions and a drill for the pending helicopter operations. The science engineers, acousticians, technical and data team remain busy onboard running systems and supporting science.
It is good to be underway.

Regards, Chris, Andrew & Nate
