Today we successfully completed the resupply of Casey station (V2 2023/24). It is fair to say that everyone is excited - ships crew and expeditioners alike. The onboarding of the last of the RTA cargo took all day with the second of our two barges landing on the front hatch just after 2000 hrs. We departed Newcomb Bay at 2020 with the celebratory release of flares and the sounding of the ship's horn. The team at Casey reciprocated to the pleasure of those of us congregated on Nuyina's helideck. At the time of writing we are completing a short transit to an area north of Adam's Glacier to complete some final bathymetry of a newly identified seafloor canyon. Thereafter we will make way for Hobart routing our course to minimise our exposure to rough seas. In all, I think the voyage a success. For some this will be celebrated by means of staying up to watch sunset and sunrise (being only an hour apart), whilst others will sleep. My thanks to all involved, and in particular this evening, to those of the ship's crew who are on watch through the twilit 'night' whilst we traverse waters heavy with icebergs and their remnants.

Regards

Keith and Nick
