All on board are happy and well. Today we completed a total of some 25 cargo movements; 18 of which were 10,000 litre Jet-A1 ISO tank containers. With the transfer of these 'isotainers', the V2 resupply mission has now completed delivery of all 'critical' and 'priority' cargo types. We remain hopeful of another productive day tomorrow with the weather again forecast to be favourable until mid-afternoon. Having noted this, we expect winds to reach 35 knots during the evening and increase to 45 knots overnight. We expect blowing snow during the evening; potentially becoming blizzard conditions. Given this, we will cease operations by 1700, secure the ship, and likely take Nuyina out of Newcomb Bay at the Master's discretion.

There will be no operations on Friday 4 January as winds are forecast to be 50 knots at times during the early morning, with the ongoing potential for blizzard conditions. The wind is expected to then decrease during the afternoon and evening. We will reassess conditions on Saturday prior to planning for the recommencement of cargo operations. Although the weather will temporarily halt the V2 resupply, with only two or so days of cargo ops left to be completed, V2 remains on track for a return to Hobart by January 16.

Finally, I would like to again acknowledge all the effort that goes into a successful resupply mission. Whilst we are not finished yet, many people back in Hobart, on ship and at station have worked hard over long hours to get us to this point: my thanks to all involved.

Regards

Keith and Nick
