All on board are happy and well. Whilst elevated winds saw a delayed start to the day, hard cargo ops commenced at 1300 and work continued through to 2000. We have good weather forecast for the coming four days and we will trial dual barge operations tomorrow. We anticipate making strong progress into the coming week.

Today saw the departure of one of our Voyage 2 Watercraft Officer's to join the important Denman Terrestrial Campaign (DTC). We wish him well in his new role of DTC Liaison officer. With the completion of refuelling ops yesterday, many of the other V2 watercraft operators volunteered to provide labour on station; completing the demanding task of digging many cubic meters of snow and ice from the fuel farm bunds. Well done to all involved. We also saw another group of watercraft operators temporarily join the Station-based Ardery Island expedition team. Tomorrow, weather permitting, the team will attempt to get to Ardery Island to service or replace cameras used in the scientific observation of seabirds and penguins.

Finally, I note that our two Arts Fellows are ashore and experiencing the wilds of Antarctica. I'm sure their labours will generate art that will give voice to the wonders and importance of this amazing place.

Regards

Keith and Nick
