Comments

While we might not be able to see land yet, we do have sunshine (thank you Tasmania). A rare afternoon treat and a warm welcome home (nearly). This time tomorrow we expect to be standing firming on the solid ground of Hobart Town and thus bringing to an end Voyage 1 for season 2023/2024. I would like to personnel thank the crew of the RSV Nuyina for their unwavering support in successfully achieving all voyage objectives and for a safe and enjoyable voyage For those retuning home from Davis and Mawson Stations after more than a year away from home, thank you for your dedication to the Australian Antarctic Program. For the voyage support team, my heart-felt thanks for all the great work and collaboration for the last 7000 and something nautical miles.
