Continuing calm sea conditions have seen us cover 335nm (620kms) is the past 24 hours as we make steady progress towards Hobart. A lone wandering albatross, with its 3m wing span, graced us with a brief fly-by, otherwise, bird life has somewhat diminished since leaving Antarctic waters. Tonight, we will cross out of the furious 50s and into the roaring 40s. Nothing was particularly furious about the 50s and the 40s look like they will be as equally benign, for which we are all very grateful. We will advance our clocks one more hour tonight to be on UTC +10 tomorrow.
