All operations complete and people loaded, with final preparations underway to commence our voyage north. For the 76th ANARE, today marks exactly 365 days since their arrival here at Davis Station. For the 77th, the station is now in their hands and we wish them the very best for the season ahead. Like all good occasions, the shows not over until the band plays. We celebrated both the 76th and the 77th ANAREs, and the crew of the Nuyina for their support during resupply with a small performance from the Red Hot Chilli Penguins out on the ice next to the ship, before the ship blew its whistle and it was time for those who where boarding to board, and those who were remaining to make the way to Davis Station. We will soon break out of the small stretch of remaining fast ice and begin the journey home.
