Comments
The wind has scuttled our plans for another morning and we now hold onto hope that the afternoon will bring a lessening of the wind. We have "nosed" into the edge of the fast ice, poised for action, after a night of "stooging". For those unfamiliar with the term "stooging", it refers to the vessel cruising back and forth in an area when being at anchor would not be possible or advisable, hence the 102 NM covered in the last 24 hours.
