Comments

Taking on fuel, or "bunkering" as it's called when referring to ships fuel, has been the main activity of the day. Which for expeditioners onboard occurs with barely a disturbance. Those astute folks on board may notice that we're now sitting a little lower in the water with some significant extra weight added over the past day or so. At some point during the small hours of the night, this process will be complete and then it will be time to make the final preparations for our voyage south. While we're all keen to get going, this time spend onboard has been valuable time for people to familiarise themselves with the ship, complete final "life admin" tasks, and catch up briefings and training to help prepare for the season ahead.
