Comments

Voyage management met with round trip expeditioners and scientists to discuss their projects and requirements on station.

Two CSIRO Argo buoys have been deployed, at 2.45am and 1pm AEST.

Evening entertainment included an excellent short film by a winter expeditioner filmed at Davis Station in 2014.

Planning meeting and briefings are underway; today's included planning for heavy lifts (like the 30tonne bulldozer we will be taking ashore), deployment of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which will be used for reconnaissance of sea ice, and watercraft operations.

Everyone is up and about and travelling well.

Cheers,

Andy, Vic and Eloise
