Comments

The hours of daylight are increasing, and the temperature is slowly starting to rise as we head north. This morning we stopped to do one more test – the HiPAP pole. The High Precision Acoustic Positioning (HiPAP) pole is deployed through the hull of the ship, and will be used during science operations to provide accurate positions of subsea objects such as remotely operated vehicles, autonomous underwater vehicles or CTDs.
