Comments

Nobody likes Mondays, except for our steadfast LARC crews who braved the waves and wind to keep our cargo delivery ticking over today as the helicopters remained safely inside the hanger. Slow and steady will be the pace of this resupply until the weather improves a bit, but each afternoon we're hopeful the next day will bring sunshine and low winds. The bridge is a hive of activity though, with time-keepers helping us track movement of cargo and build a better picture of how resupply operations at Macquarie Island really work, but there was also time to turn around and watch a pod of Orca whales swim past the stern of the ship. Never a dull moment out here, and here's hoping for blue skies tomorrow!
