Comments

Today, the ship remains at No 1 Anchorage. Ship's crew and expeditioners continue to use this time as effectively as possible. The crew have been undertaking exercises with their lifeboats, personnel tenders and dynamic positioning systems. Around the ship, AAD expeditioners have been engaged in final checks of communications equipment, cargo and project equipment whilst field training sessions have been conducted for those expeditioners disembarking at Macquarie Island. Voyage planning sessions and administration continues, as does the steady stream of delicious and varied meals courtesy of the hard working galley team. Our cabins and workspaces are all being made ready for sea in anticipation of some potentially sizeable cold fronts.

Regards

James & Brendan
