Comments

Overnight we continued to pump fuel under benign weather conditions with the maximum 10 minute wind speed coming in at 5.1 knots. The possible 20 knot winds that were predicted for the early morning couldn't be bothered to get out of bed and the boat crews reported glassy conditions.

There was not even that much ice to worry about. A small ice cliff collapsed on the northern side of the bay this morning and the resulting ice debris largely stayed put, taking several hours to slowly expand out and ultimately posing no threat to the fuel line at all.

The boat crews have found a few bits of ice to push under the line but they have certainly not been as busy as we feared they might be.

At 12:30pm, we passed 666 000 litres... We're hoping to reach seven digits sometime this evening. We hope that the station has been keeping its supermarket discount dockets because they are going to need all of them.
