Comments

We continue to power along in calm sea conditions towards the 60th parallel. Yesterday a number of medical drills and familiarisations with far flung places in the vessel were conducted with the Serco crew, our helicopter crew, DVL Justin and our two doctors, Dane and David, as they prepare for any medical emergencies that might come up. The volunteer victim was Jackson and the exercises culminated in the rehearsal of a surgical procedure to remove a particularly nasty Christmas jumper.

No icebergs seen yet. Some blue skies are peeking through.
