Comments

Refuelling continued yesterday afternoon. We successfully completed the delivery of 936,000 litres yesterday evening and after packing up, finished work at about 8.30pm.

Everyone is very relieved to have that part of the resupply wrapped up.
It was a challenging refuel because of the amount of ice in the bay but apparently not as bad as the old days, according to some on board. For age related reasons these folk may wish to remain anonymous.

Cargo operations ran concurrently for part of yesterday and then recommenced first thing this morning. The last of the outgoing cargo is due to be delivered this afternoon. There is still about two days worth of Return to Australia (RTA) cargo to be uploaded but with poor weather forecast it looks likely that we will have to pull the pick (the anchor) this afternoon and head out to deeper water. At least everyone will get a chance to rest and catch up on some sleep.

Cheers,

Andy, Vic and Eloise
