There is an air of positivity and perhaps even a little excitement around the AIVIQ tonight.

All voyage objectives are now complete, we have all our personnel and equipment on board and we are in the process of making final preparations for sea.

Last night we held the hugely successful V7 Quiz Night which was taken out by "The Super Slushies" – great work team! A special mention to our quiz host, Doctor Catherine (or Catz as she is known when she steps aboard a ship) for organising the evening and providing us all with a welcome diversion from the repetition of shipboard life. Her only misstep for the night was the airing of her questionable Spotify playlist in the music round. The only people who seemed to enjoy it were the stewards waiting to clean the mess - as her insistence on playing it after the quiz concluded ensured it cleared out in record time.

The good news is we've just received our departure orders and will begin our return to Hobart mid-morning tomorrow with an estimated arrival date in Hobart of 1300 local on Saturday 08 APR – just in time for Easter.

REGARDS: Simon and Matt
