Comments

I know I talk about the weather a lot but there is such a vast array of conditions out on the ocean. Today is no different. We have a very long gentle swell that makes the ship roll in a soothing manner, almost like being rocked to sleep. Even though there is a swell there are no waves and little wind so the water is calm. It is overcast and in the distance I can see what appears to be a storm. Not black like a big storm but lighter in colour so if it did eventuate I expect it would only be a small storm. Combined they all add to the unusual atmosphere of the day.

As each day goes by it gets warmer and warmer so it will be interesting when we arrive in Fremantle. Even though it is only 14 degrees it feels much hotter. Having been in colder temperatures for nearly 10 weeks we will need to reacclimatise ourselves to the warmer weather.

Cheers
Leanne and Jacob
