Comments

Yesterday there were a number of route forecasts provided by our friends at the Bureau of Meteorology to determine the best way back to Australia with the best of not great weather systems spread across the Southern Ocean. The winner was Fremantle so at 11am yesterday we headed north.

The Australian Antarctic Division has experience in bringing ships into Fremantle having done so on a number of occasions in recent times. Regardless of which port one of our vessels go to we have the capability to bring the ship in to port, unload the cargo and transport it back to Hobart as well as organizing travel arrangements for expeditioners on board.

Everyone on board is in good spirits as we continue to Fremantle.

Cheers
Leanne and Jacob
