This morning three Quad Tractors were sent ashore. It was a sight to behold as the ship's crane slewed across the deck. The tractor was then slowly and gently lowered with precision onto the pontoons under the watchful eye and direction of the Chief Officer with assistance from the watercraft operators. Once ashore the pontoons were positioned by the workboats at the boat ramp. They were tethered to other pieces of machinery stationed on the shore, ramps connected to the pontoons and when all were in position the tractor was driven very slowly off the pontoons onto the shore. The occurred twice more for the Quad tracs and then two dozers. As I am watching from the bridge of the Happy Diamond the pontoons are coming alongside ready to receive the excavator. This leaves one item on the ship to send to Casey. We are currently at 99.58% discharged. Almost there for cargo off the ship and then we turn to RTA (return to Australia).
Cheers
