Comments

What an absolute cracker of a day on the Southern Ocean. Yesterday was overcast, raining and sitting just below zero degrees Celsius. Today at 1430 h the sun is shining and it is a beautiful 52 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are not sure what that is, just remember the super simple formula of subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9............................. I find it much easier to subtract 32 and then divide by 2. It's not 100% accurate but it will get you pretty close for temps below 40 degrees Celsius.

VM has been kept busy today providing 15 members of the team with performance reports as well as updating the VL report with feedback from the team. Elsewhere, voyage members have had tours of the ships engine room, and are taking the time to enjoy the lovely weather on the bridge which included seeing some spectacular Wandering Albatross.

As the end of the voyage draws closer, the DVL is now getting busier finalising crew admin such as discharge procedures and the super important voyage T-Shirts.

REGARDS: Trent and Cam
