Comments

It has been another quiet day at sea. With the swell continuing to ease, we have finally been allowed back outside. There is nothing quite like the feeling of fresh wind in your hair after days inside a rocking boat. And what beautifully warm air we were greeted with! Having crossed the Antarctic Convergence yesterday, the air temperature has jumped to a balmy 9 degrees. The AIVIQ is making steady progress and our arrival date suddenly seems just around the corner. Expeditioners and crew alike are excited to be home. To see friends and family, or even just talk on the phone to loved ones, is such a simple but special pleasure that we often take for granted in the real world.

REGARDS: Anthea & Samantha
